The Stars’ Editorial biased opinion.

It may be that it’s taken a few days to say this but well, the words from the Star editorial board won’t be going away. Their obvious liberal slant and hatred of Progressive Conservative Leader Doug Ford and Conservatives in general. Here’s the definition of What Journalism means.

“Writing that reflects superficial thought and research, a popular slant, and hurried composition, conceived of as exemplifying topical newspaper or popular magazine writing as distinguished from scholarly writing.”

It can be said that these people are superficial and bias against Police and Conservatives, one need only look at a recent Headline that said “Police training falls short, report finds” which, this is only six, count them, six whole days after a police officer refused to shoot a suspect for his actions on Yonge Street. That man is still alive because of the training and experience of a Police Officer. So, police training not good enough? I don’t think so. Unless you work at One Yonge Street. You know, they should realize that people like police more than politicians.

Let’s go further. They don’t like Doug Ford. They make an emphasis on Doug not having the media follow him to every rally. Well, I’d like to say that the media, TV, reporters, and journalists are still invited to follow. And I emphasize this too. They are invited and will continue to be invited to every location that Doug Ford visits. Question, is there any issues with Kathleen Wynne or Andrea Horwath? Do they allow the media to follow their campaign buses? I hear Andrea has a really nice looking one.

And hey, if I’m able to find out about Where Doug Ford is going to be, they should be able to find him too.

This Board says he’s trying to camouflage his evasiveness. On Tuesday May 8th I saw Doug Ford talking on TV about his rally at the Congress Centre that was later in the day. In it, he invited the members of the media, who were obviously present on camera, and they were all applauding.

Evasive? Secretive? I don’t think so.

This Board also says “he ducks reporters at every turn.” Well, if he is what they call, Avoiding the media at almost every given opportunity, I don’t agree with this accusation because I’ve seen Mr. Ford on Television pretty much every day since he, Kathleen, and Andrea Horwath have been campaigning. Which has been going on for a month. Let’s be serious Toronto Star Editorial Board. If I was in Doug’s position, I may be inclined not to visit your building or answer any questions at all by any Star employee. That’s my position. You’re so very biased. So why would I be giving you ammunition whatsoever?

The board accuses Doug of get this, FAKE NEWS! which, this sounds a lot like when Kathleen Wynne compared Doug Ford to Donald Trump. Sounds familiar? It was back on April 19th that it was mentioned.

“This exercise is the very definition of fake news.” That is their exact line. They go on to explain what fake news is. But it can’t be related to Doug Ford, because First, Doug Ford is in the news. Accusing him of making fake news is like saying he’s not being who he is. Or he’s lying to the people. One could say that the Right Honourable Jean Chretien is creating fake news because he said before becoming Prime Minister that he would get rid of the GST which he knows everybody hated. The Star points that the limit, is news that is fact-checking and has accountability. But (this is my opinion), it also says superficial. So, it’s very shallow, it’s doing things on short notice. Like checking your facts. And because it’s done by human beings there can be mistakes also. Which leads to this.

An editorial board should be able to draw on a conclusion, that reflects what most or all of it’s readers tend to believe, based on its Opinion. And I think, that almost all the people in Toronto know and trust the Police, and when there needs to be a change in Government. I’m able to make decisions that affect my life based on the shallow or superficial information I already have in my mind. So the question is,

Why can’t the 10 or 12 people on this Editorial Board do the same?

I have heard that these and other people do their research and check their facts by searching the archives for previous stories they have printed. I wonder how much good it does them. I’ll close with this. This, is their Opinion. And it stinks. But no matter what, you’d better believe that if this is what they’re writing about him now, wait until later, it’ll get a lot worse. That’s not telling the truth. And, in fact, they could have done something better by writing on another topic instead of Doug Ford. I could talk  about the one or two guys who still owe me money to this day, but I don’t because it’s irrelevant.

Fifteen years of liberals in this Province is enough. A Star Editorial Board could go for 15 more. If that isn’t a biased opinion I don’t know what it is. It’s wrong, you can’t give a proper opinion when you’re this opinionated. What I could honestly say is, I wish they would just go away. For good.

I am not including the Editorial because they don’t deserve it. I hope, you will respect my opinion on this matter, I can’t stand liars. Neither does God. He will forgive them though through His Son Jesus. God bless you.
