The NDP under it’s leader Jagmeet Singh is losing badly. And the result will be seen next year in October 2019. The next federal election. But there are some indicating signs of their demise already. One of them is funding. It’s very low. Down below $5 million dollars. And, they are still in debt. Right there that offers proof that they can’t handle money whatsoever. Because, they were in debt when the 2015 election ended when Thomas Mulcair was their leader, and they are still in debt. They did get above zero, but then fell into it again. See, they can’t handle their own money, how do they manage the Nation’s money?
Another reason is the result they’ve have had in by-elections. The winners have been either Conservative or liberal. The NDP, after seeing the results were a Distant Third Place. And the by-elections were in different provinces across Canada. Two in Quebec, Toronto, and in British Columbia. Which and by the way, the one MP they have in Alberta, Linda Duncan in the riding of Edmonton-Strathcona won’t be running in the next election. Maybe she thought she didn’t have a chance.
Another reason is the Leader, Jagmeet Singh. He will be running in the next by-election in South Burnaby, B.C. The seat was given up by Kennedy Stewart so he could run for Mayor of Vancouver. He’s been nominated already. But, the liberals won’t call an election until it’s time. The government is not required to announce a by-election until six months after it has been vacated. The liberals are playing it smart by waiting for the last minute to do something because if Jag wins that’s good and it will be good for the party’s fortunes too. But if he loses, they will be spending so many thousands of dollars for him to win, and he lost. But, by the time a federal election rolls around they will have to spend so many more thousands for a federal election. They will have only about four or five months to prepare, and they will be in debt. It’s not the liberals fault that the NDP are in debt. There might be some complaints though too. Lol. Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath won’t do anything to help Kathleen Wynne and her liberals to gain funding for her political base. No official party status. You might remember, that Dalton McGuinty and the liberals did them a favor by offering more funding to the NDP. Yet, Andrea Horwath won’t return the favor. A politician like Andrea Horwath should remember not to burn any bridges behind her, or him. This includes people, political parties and orginizations in general.
What goes around comes around, and the bigger they are, the harder the fall.
She is probably thinking that she’ll be the next Premier of this Province. Ontario. But maybe not. She may not be the Leader of the Opposition in four years. But as you read in the Bible of the Woman who sits on the beast, She say in her heart, “I sit as queen; I am not a widow, and I will never mourn.” Revelation 18:7. She was laid waste in one hour. And God said about her, Rejoice over her, O Heaven! Rev. 18:20.
To continue, Their polling shows them at less than 20%. And we should note that percentage points are not an accurate way of judging how many seats. But, These MP’s are still hopeful of good results in the federal election coming in October 2019. I wouldn’t hold my breath. I think it’s going to be bad for the NDP. I think Jag, who will go up against Megan Veck for the Conservatives, I don’t know the who the other party members will be, but anyone can win, except the NDP. The liberals have 18 seats in the Province of B.C. Conservatives 9. My opinion is that this will be a two way fight between the liberals and Conservatives. It’s getting closer. Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives are closing the gap. But, unless there’s another major setback like a pipeline or an Ottawa Scandal of some kind, I think the liberals will pull this one out. Maybe a Majority, but not as strong. Fewer seats. Justin Trudeau has to show himself as a leader. The liberals will lose some, the Conservatives will gain, the NDP will be obliterated. They’ve got 41, they’ll get 10-15. Or less. That’s going to give the first two over twenty seats to fight for in the next election. I know Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives would love to make more gains in Quebec where the NDP have 15. Gaining half would be great! I personally would like to see that. It proves that the French speaking Province has Conservative values like other Canadians. The Ndp will lose badly, with more debt to boot.
