Things are not looking to good in TorStar land. The two owners, Jordan Bitove and Paul Rivett bought the newspaper conglomerate two years ago and now, they can’t get along. So much so, that they want the courts to settle the dispute. They’ll do this by selling. Maybe by Auction Let’s hope it happens. This liberal supporting newspaper is so awful do they honestly think people are going to buy their newspaper? I’m not. They should be able to make money with advertising. But like many other newspaper Companies, they’re struggling. I personally don’t think they represent what people think or feel or have their opinion. They’re liberal. And people may vote for a liberal Government, but that’s not how they think. You don’t blame the Opposition for the Government trying to cover-up for something, you blame the one responsible. It would be like my wife being caught in Adultery and then coming to me and asking how good I was in bed. Well, we have to blame somebody don’t we. And the Star is very famous for that. Like blaming Police instead of Liberals Soft on criminals policies. Ever since these two guys took over, there’s been an emphasis on liberal writing. Even letters to the Editor. I read the letters right after Jody Wilson Raybould testified at the Committee and one letter after the other, they blamed anyone but Justin Trudeau. Not him, not liberals. What got me was that the Globe & Mail just earlier that year, in January 2018 had covered Trudeau’s Cabinet Shuffle which saw JWR moved from Attorney General. From there they discovered a coverup which lead to the Jody Wilson-Raybould testimony. It was the Globe that uncovered the Stench that forced the Prime Minister into answering some embarrassing questions. The Star went along with it. But uncover it? No way! Not with a liberal gov’t. The Globe with the investigative work done by Robert Fife, enjoyed a freefall of new readers who wanted to know more about this Scandal. This created a whole bunch of new readers, more money, because of the homework they’d done.
The Star didn’t, and they wouldn’t uncover anything that resembles dirt coming from these liberals. I heard from someone working for this newspaper:
“The Star is still a business.”
And that should be emphasized! They are a business, and if they’d first uncovered the dirt about JWR, they would’ve enjoyed that freefall of money, and readers flocking to the Star, instead of the G&M. But that’s their own fault. This newspaper could fold and all those employees could see their jobs disappear in the near future. They should go to the Sun Media or National Post or the Globe & Mail. Because for me, I wouldn’t want to work for a Company–any Company that doesn’t tell the Truth or covers up the Truth. It’s bad for business. I wouldn’t want to do their dirty work. And there’s a lot. If you read the National Post you’ll get things that people want to read, who enjoy everything that’s being printed and published. And you’ll honestly have people telling the Truth. It has an emphasis on who we are and what we think. The Star, if it keeps going to a liberal slant won’t reflect what people think or what our opinion is on certain matters. It in fact does the opposite. So,
Why should we read the Toronto Star?
The answer is we shouldn’t. And, my hope is in fact that it is sold, or broken up into little pieces so nobody can recognize it anymore. I hope anyone working there will find new work soon, but I won’t miss it. A newspaper that hammers away at police, and Conservative politicians like Doug Ford. Who again and again endorse that playboy Justin Trudeau despite his greed. I mean seriously, how long can you go on about him. He’s a topless boy, in a man’s world. Take Erin O’Toole who served in the Canadian Armed Forces and did Search & Rescue missions. He’s done more than Justin Trudeau did. And Trudeau doesn’t stand a chance against Pierre Poilievre. Here’s Trudeau, who puts a special emphasis on this Climate Change stuff yet a war rages on in Ukraine. A government that doesn’t do anything about Inflation, and in fact thinks it should be higher, that’s according to Chrystia Freeland, Minister of Finance, Deputy PM. The price of gas in Ontario is currently around $1.65 per litre. In British Columbia it’s $2.25.
How’s that for a ripoff!
The Star will endorse this Government again. And again. I say, Enough is Enough. No more Toronto Star, no more Justin Trudeau. Enough of the high gas prices. Enough of our Grocery bills going through the roof. The best thing you will get out of a Conservative Government is that they will establish policies to lower gas prices. They may even lower it immediately by taking off the GST, like Doug Ford did in Ontario. But overall they will establish policy to lower inflation. And bring the price of everything down for everyone. What’s really strange about all this is that Jean Chretien and Paul Martin did this during their time in Parliament. Tried to lower Inflation. And it was a great idea. Now here we are with Trudeau and his Finance Minister don’t want to do anything about it. Time to get rid of them, as soon as we get the chance. Let’s get that election going, ASAP.
