Trudeau falling fast. Poll.

Today is Tuesday, February 26, 2019. In the next day or two, Jody Wilson Raybould will testify before the Commons Justice Committee. And PM Justin Trudeau said yesterday that he was “pleased” that she will be giving her version of things, concerning the SNC Lavalin affair. Trudeau has also given a limited waiver solicitor/client privilege and Cabinet confidence to let her speak her mind about allegations she was pressured to interfere in the SNC Lavalin court case. He made the decision late last night. Which tells me, he’s nervous about what she’s going to say. I, on the other hand am not nervous, I don’t think she is either. I just hope she tells the whole Truth. Regardless of consequences.

Justin Trudeau is nervous about what will happen.

He’s not fooling Canadians with his grandstanding either, as public opinion polls suggests. Every single day in Parliament and in the media he’s had to deal with all the tough questions. In Question Period he of course is not answering the questions directly. He’s standing up for jobs, in Quebec, he was, until last night, refusing to waive solicitor/client privilege, he was using the members of the Justice Committee to first refuse Jody Wilson Raybould to testify (it was voted down by the liberal members of the Committee). After Wilson-Raybould resigned as Minister, she was criticized by her liberal colleagues. In the media. And all this has to do with covering up a scandal. The Truth. Keeping everything under wraps. I hope she does reveal everything. If she does, well, she will continue to get lots more criticism. Justin Trudeau has says, “If Scott Brison didn’t resign, she would still be the Attorney General.” That’s not true. That’s a line he’s feeding us.

There were liberals that were questioning why she didn’t resign sooner. Why should she? You see, again the criticism. The Commons Justice Committee is important because it is where they need to get to the bottom of this. The media will be watching. We’ll be watching too. Wanting more information. Especially from her. They will call witnesses. And they will be under oath of telling the Truth. But, that Truth does not realistically include information that is omitted. If it’s not brought forward, than it’s not included. It’s also still run by the liberals. And these liberals will control the conclusions. Which means the Opposition Members will want to be calling every witness available like Gerald Butts and members of the PMO, while liberals will be wanting as few as possible.

The liberals will still control the Committee.

If you look at the latest polls, it shows Justin Trudeau falling in the polls. And no doubt, this Scandal is having an impact. The latest has the Conservatives at 38% which is close to a Majority. liberals at 31%. Angus Reid poll. And a majority of Canadians believe the SNC Lavalin affair is pointing to something deeper. (66 per cent). Which proves, you can’t fool us into thinking that this is all just one big misunderstanding.

My opinion is, Justin Trudeau IS behind all of this. He used Gerald Butts to do his dirty work, thus he gave his resignation. He did waive the Solicitor/Client privilege but that doesn’t mean he wants the Truth to come out still because he and his liberal colleagues still control the committee and the info may still be limited. This will have to be decided by us the people. And what this Committee does. I’m saying “what it does” because I’m not sure they want to get to the bottom of this. The Oppositition wants too. The ethics Commissioner or anyone else for that matter won’t do it fast enough. Before an election is called.

This will have to be decided on by us. And, I think he’s as guilty as they come. They are liberals. He’s a politician. And politicians lie and cover up so we don’t know the Truth. If we get the Truth it’s because they couldn’t do anything to stop it from coming out. I’m praying we will. But I think we’ve seen and heard just enough to know there was at least something wrong, and the proof was that Jody Wilson Raybould resigned as Minister, and Gerald Butts as well. I think she was pressured by Gerald Butts, who was acting on behalf of his boss Justin Trudeau. And that’s what we need to know. And remember. There’s some good news for Justin.

SNC Lavalin is a huge conglomerate of a Company based in Quebec. And if I was in PM’s Chair, I’d be doing everything to save those nine thousand people’s jobs from going to the unemployment line. But I would have handled it in a better manner. I’m not afraid of making decisions. Even controversial. And he should probably do the same. Have a great day.

The latest:

Another liberal Scandal.

I’m writing about another liberal scandal because this one I came know about through a Globe & Mail Column. But since then, has been shut downed and denied by the Prime Minister, his Office (PMO), his current Attorney General David Lametti who appeared on camera on CTV’s Question Period, denying any wrongdoing and saying that an investigation is not necessary because there was no wrongdoing, And also his former AG Jody Wilson Raybould who refused to cooperate with the PMO and as a result, wound being fired as Attorney General and demoted to Minister of Veterans Affairs. I’m saying this because this is how I think it happened. This is the truth.

Justin Trudeau is lying, and is trying to cover-up the Truth.

The Trudeau government is lying and is now in fact trying to hide and cover up the truth to protect itself. I don’t tolerate this from any politician or government. SNC Lavalin, A big financial supporter of the liberal party of Canada, had bribery charges laid against it under the Corruption of Foreign Public Officials Act, and if convicted, it could be banned from doing business with Ottawa for 10 years. How’s that for having friends in High Places. It asked Ms. Wilson-Raybould to persuade the Public Prosecution Service of Canada to let SNC Lavalin reach a negotiated “remediation agreement” to avoid being convicted. A negotiated settlement to avoid a penalty of non-negotiation with the most powerful, most influential place in the Country. Parliament. Ottawa.

I’d call that a good motive for a Scandal.

Without a settlement, it could result in eventual bankruptcy for the giant engineering Company who has construction projects Worldwide. I looked up the government website on lobbying in Ottawa and looked into SNC Lavalin contacts with the government. Here’s what I found: Bruce Neil is the President and CEO of SNC. They’ve had 60 meetings, last updated from November 20, 2018. The thing being negotiated is not money but legislation to be proposed on I guess, things that are beneficial to the Company.

Also read this under Policies and Regulations: Canadian international development via Global Affairs Canada (GAC) re policies on funding international development projects; on every available occasion advocate GAC to manage more of its own development resources and open more of its projects to untied competitive bidding by private sector firms as is the practice other aid agencies such as UK’s Department for International Development (DFID)

So what does that mean? If SNC wants to build a bridge in some place like Australia, United States, the government will offer funding for such international projects, this, to compete with other international companies (who bid for the same project say), and compete for the almighty buck worldwide. It is a construction Company, so it’s capable of building. The Site also says that SNC does not receive government funding. BUT, this is a big But, It does receive funding. But it doesn’t ask for things like Corporate Welfare like Air Canada has, it receives money for issues like projects it wants to build in the future. That’s not so bad I guess. It depends on what you’re asking for. I also think that this legislation is fair, and is meant for other Companies, or more Competition. That may be the good news of all this.

Nevertheless, the Attorney General at the time, appears to have wanted nothing to do with Plea bargain and she blew off requests from the PMO to get the remediation agreement agreed too. The result was that she was moved, and David Lametti, another Attorney at law, took her place. Ms. Wilson Raybould is the key to this. As she left, she wrote an unprecedented public letter where she spoke sincerely about some things, and spoke about being under pressure from above. At the time her letter didn’t make sense.

Her demotion is the smoking gun.

This could have been handled better. Ms. Wilson-Raybould could have overruled the prosecution office, as long as she did it in writing and a notice about it was published in the Canada Gazzette. The argument could have been made that SNC Lavalin is a large Company based in Quebec employing many employees, and bankruptcy now, or in the future would have been catastrophic for the Company, and Quebec. There’s political points here too.

But, Justin Trudeau told the Justice Minister and Attorney General to look the other way. This all caused a legislation to cover up for a Company on bribery charges, a Prime Minister who denied any wrongdoing, David Lametti who says an investigation nor a parliamentary meeting is not necessary cause nothing’s wrong, A Cabinet shuffle, and the truth to be shoveled under the carpet. Trust this Government?

I don’t think so.

If you’re reading this, you should know right from wrong. Politics from Scandal. You know when the government is up to something and I smell brewing. They were almost caught, but they denied it, covered it up, they bound Ms. Wilson-Raybould from speaking on grounds of client/attorney privilege because she was the Attorney General and is, even now bound by secrecy. Now she’s not allowed to speak about this publicly. Not to the media, her constituents, her friends or family, social media, or Question Period. Incidentally, the day the Opposition pounded the Government in Question Period over this Scandal in the making, Justin Trudeau was not there. He was in Toronto. And of course he took questions over this and he denied any wrongdoing, and called the piece in the Globe & Mail false. It takes a little thing like a newspaper column to pick up a story, which may lead to a scandal.

The Globe & Mail is a liberal supporting newspaper.

But, they are very good at what they do, which is unlike the liberal supporting Toronto Star, who if they’d found out, would have sat on it, and eventually shoved it under the carpet. Which is why they’re not a good media outlet, because this could have resulted in more newspapers being sold. More money! Isn’t that the idea? Well, they won’t be getting it this time. The Globe & Mail, National Post, and Toronto Sun will be getting it.

Anyways, I believe I know the truth about this. And it is enough to make a decision on. I wouldn’t vote for these liberals in the election coming this October. You may want to. But if you do and they end up back in power, well, I don’t think we’ve seen the last of any scandals from this group of crooks. In the last election, Justin Trudeau went on and on about change for the better. More and more and change and change and better and better. Is this better? I wouldn’t believe it.

liberal MP missing in action.

There’s no one in Parliament who does any work that can be called, physically demanding. So, why is liberal MP Nicola Di Lorio not showing up at work each day? It can be said that I’m doing more work that is demanding. My job requires skill and pays a good income but I also work for it. Here’s how it rolls. Di Lorio was set to resign his seat Jan. 22-28. This, because he hasn’t been there all that much. But instead of resigning, he made a statement, criticizing Nathan Cullen and the NDP, because they wanted an investigation into his absenteeism and delayed resignation. It was raised back in November, as well as December. They were arguing that the people in his riding were not being represented. I agree with that.

Di Lorio counters, that he hadn’t broken any rules, he argues that the NDP are only raising this up because they are trying to tarnish his reputation. I wonder what he thinks is worse, his tarnished reputation, or his absenteeism. He says he made a $100,000 donation to an impaired driving charity. Maybe it was MADD or Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD), Teens Against Drunk Driving (TADD). That might be a good gesture, But just like Robin Hood, it is still a sin to steal from someone.

This does not justify Nicola’s actions.

And by the way, which does he think is worse, his reputation being tarnished or his absenteeism? He’s treating it that one is worse than the other. Also, the rules surrounding these things are pretty loose, and from what I can gather, he’s been them to his own advantage. He actually used them to do work outside the House to work as a lawyer. He said PMJT approved his work. Early in the morning on January 29/19 he informed the Speaker of the House that he was Resigning. After, he went into the House Chamber to make a personal statement on his absenteeism but never actually said anything about his resignation. Instead, he lambasted Nathan Cullen and the NDP for making this an issue, but during this time, he’s got everyone confused about whether he’ll resign or not. His thought may be, “What have I got to lose.” I think that’s disgusting. He’s only thinking of himself.

He’s not even thinking about his liberal colleagues.

His riding is Saint Leonard-Saint Michel, in Montreal, Quebec. I’ve only one thing to say to Mr. Di Lorio, goodbye and good riddance.

The details:

Leadership.

It is necessary for PMJT to demonstrate leadership in the time of a crisis. Right now, and many people are calling for this, our fellow Canadian Robert Lloyd Schellenberg is in prison, and will die if the government he was born and raised in, doesn’t help him. When I was young, I got in trouble with the law. I was charged, and would have been convicted, except, my Dad talked the mother of the boy I assaulted, and said his son is not a violent type of guy, I just liked to have fun once in a while, and she agreed to have the charges dropped. She did, and I never got in trouble again. My Dad demonstrated leadership, and I was free from trouble. Imagine if Justin Trudeau needed the same help from his Dad, whom we all know.

For the record, I’ve not heard from Andrew Scheer on this yet but I’ve heard from the Conservatives. They’ve said the PM needs to be talking directly to the President, Xi Jinping about this. And I agree with this. Right now, the Canadian Government is trying to get Countries and Allies on their side to support them in this. Our biggest Ally is of course, United States. Both governments are continuing to agree to put pressure on China to first, release the two Canadians being held in prison. They have not broken any laws in China, yet are being detained. By the Chinese Government. This, because of the arrest of Meng Wanzhou in Vancouver. On December 1, 2018, Meng was arrested, and was held by Canadian Authorities, at the behest of United States, who wants her because of charges of fraud and violating international sanctions against Iran. A short time later, two Canadians were held, and shortly after that, I’m told that extradition proceedings could take up to three months. She has been released on bail, she lives in a mansion, in Vancouver. She has conditions to her bail. Which are she is to be home by 11p.m. She has a gadget on her body so they know where she is, she’s limited to her location, she’s not allowed outside of the Vancouver area (so does that mean she’s not allowed to call anywhere in China, like the Chinese government?) I’m sure they’ll pick up.

Our three Canadians? Are in Prison. Two who are arrested, not charged, having not broken the law. One should believe that it’s being done in retaliation of Meng Wanzhou. My impression is that China is using Huawei Technologies for spying technologies, to spy on people and other Countries, including those in United States and Canada. They are also do things like hacking into Computers around the World, maybe yours, including our smartphones, and Huawei has the technology to do it. She, is a very big part of that and if something happened, like she ended up in the wrong hands, like the United States, she could give away a lot of Top Secret Information.

It’s no wonder why China wants her back.

It’s much like the liberals wanting Power at all costs. John McCallum is the Ambassador to China and he has met with Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor and I seriously wonder if there was anything he could tell them to help, support, or comfort them in this difficult time. I don’t think they understand, they are pawns in a game of chess, between these two Governments and Meng Wanzhou who is being treated nicely by Canadian law. There’s things we can do. We can implement the Magnitsky law against the Top Leaders of the Chinese government. Much like we did against Vladamir Putin, and his human rights violations. This was passed by Parliament in 2012. And it should be noted that the Conservative Government had a Majority Government and could have passed it with it’s mandate, but all MP’s voted in favour of the bill. Therefore, there should be no reason for Justin Trudeau and his Government to implement the same. If it’s gutsy too. The Magnitsky Act which had been brought into law by Canada, United States and other Countries were essentially Sanctions against Russia, but used specifically against Vladamir Putin and the top people in the Russian Government. Which got him pretty upset, because they were personal. It wasn’t against the Russian population. If you read the Bible about Moses and his Acts against Egypt you might notice that a lot of those judgments were directed at Pharoah. Rameses. It was his rebellion against God that caused judgement. All he really had to do was to let the people of Israel go. But, stubborn? Yea he was.

Anyways, this can be done against China as well. And their government isn’t really thinking of this now, but the price of holding our people in Prison, could be very bad for them and their government. More Sanctions against them and their Country. As of now, there are several Airlines flying to different parts of China. They can all be cancelled by the Government of Canada. It may be inconvenient for those who are Canadian and of Chinese descent. But, I’m sure our people will support our government in this matter. There is Trade between Canada and China. It can all be stopped. This can be done between Canada and United States who has several flights, such as Cathay Pacific and Eva Airlines who fly to Hong Kong. It should also be noted of one very important matter. And that is:

China only respects Strength, not weakness.

And if Canada wants it’s people back, it should be staring eyeball to eyeball to this government and demanding our people be released or face Sanctions by Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and other Countries such as all 29 NATO Countries. The Huawei Company will not be sold anywhere in Canada for fear of espionage. There is an issue of Huawei and the 5G Newtwork. They don’t trust them with it. But I can honestly tell you that there’s a lot of Canadians with a Huawei Smartphone, and a lot of advertising too. I even see it in my job. Canada should ban them, as in other Countries.

Again, Trudeau should stand up and demand that their people be released from prison, That they are not getting their Huawei Executive back because Canada as a Country are obeying the rule of law, China is not. She will be extradited to United States, she is in the meantime being treated fairly and with respect, which is unlike our Canadian Citizens in a China. You have not been provoked at all into sentencing an innocent man to death. This is where you need a Conservative Government who won’t back down from a crisis situation. So far I’ve seen Trudeau be concerned about this. He may be wondering what to do, but so far, he’s acting like he always does. Kind, not really worried about it, which doesn’t produce much action. And that may be key. This is not really producing much action. No Actions. Except, he and his government are trying to find friends to help in this matter.

It takes guts to face this.

He can’t put this aside and hope maybe something will change and it all eventually goes away. He needs to face it, but it’s not really in his personality to face it head on. He’s not really worried if one of these men die in prison. This is not the time to back down and be weak. I personally have faced difficult decisions. I have personally stood up for what I believe in, which was the safety of people I work with, and stood, EYEBALL TO EYEBALL with someone else who refused me. What was the result you ask? I saw the other man blink. He knew he was wrong and he consented. Justin Trudeau needs to do the same. But it’s very difficult to stand like this. It still has to be done. Because a man’s life is in Danger. That is Robert Lloyd Schellenberg. And that is why I’ve wondered, What did John McCallum say to Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor in Prison?

Apology: I did my best to add a picture of Robert Lloyd Schellenberg, but unfortunately was not able to add it to this post. He looks like a nice man.

Trans Mountain Pipeline.

Happy New Year everyone. Here’s what we need to be paying attention to in 2019. There’s a few things but the only that matters is getting that Trans Mountain Pipeline built. Or at least started. This will be Justin Trudeau’s leadership being tested, which I said in a previous post was going to be an election issue. He will be judged, by the people. It is the only time that a pipeline has become an election issue. It will, because this liberal government paid $4.5 billion to Kinder Morgan back on May 29, 2018 for the work it had already built, but cannot continue because of the Supreme Court decision on the Pipeline. The government lack of consultation to the First Nations and their consent (Because the pipeline will be constructed in their territory), a lack of environmental concern in the Pacific Ocean and the marine life, specifically Killer Whales in case there is a leak, or the increase of tanker traffic off the coast of B.C. during construction.

Justin Trudeau has been saying over and over again in the House of Commons that This pipeline will be built. I can’t even begin to say how many times I’ve heard that line.

But he needs to deliver. NOW!

Or, he will face an electoral people who won’t be so forgiving. There must be construction on the ground, which means a Company that is willing to take over the money and financing around the project to continue building. Without any interference, which includes protesters on the B.C. Coast. Did you know the government was paying people to protest this very pipeline? Strange isn’t it. But that’s what happens when you have big governments. Some of it gets wasted.

“It must be built. It will be built.” Bill Morneau, Minister of Finance.

And he said it is of vital interest for the Country. To make a long story short, this pipeline is under fierce opposition from environmentalists, protesters, and two NDP Premiers in the two most westernmost provinces. This pipeline would increase exports to Asia and command a higher price. If it was built. But, Ninety Nine percent of our Heavy oil goes to the U.S. for refining which causes us to sell our oil at a reduced price. And Alberta and the Province are paying the price of this. It’s selling at about $25 a barrel which is not enough. Maybe Justin Trudeau should have used the money to cover the cost of refining the oil. That’s beneficial for Canadians.

I mentioned the government purchased the pipeline for a price, $4.5 billion, that means they will be finding someone to continue the construction. I hope that’s possible. The Aim is to continue the construction in August. But, we should remember that the government is assuming the risk, because it bought this pipeline. If it fails, and we all know that those like the Toronto Star Editorial Board will be endorsing these liberals come October, that’s win or lose, we’ll also be duped out of $4.5 billion that this government paid to purchase a pipeline that will still take a while to build. If at all. Do you trust him? Not so far as I can toss him.

Latest Opinion Polls.

To my surprise, after less than four years in power, the liberals are falling. I’m surprised because liberal governments usually last for longer than this. The last term for the liberals was from 1993 to 2006. Jean Chretien and Paul Martin. Before that it was John Turner and Pierre Trudeau who was the PM twice. I think. Throughout my life we’ve had more liberal governments than Conservatives. One reason for the change is this:

The Conservatives are a stronger political party than before.

They are a viable alternative to the Trudeau liberals. Here’s the latest poll. The question: If an election were held today, who would you vote for? 43% for Conservative, 34% for the liberals. You should note that the other political parties are not close. And I’m being firm on that because I’ve been seeing it for a while. This is a two man race. Not three our four, like the NDP, Greens, or Bloq in Quebec. Maxime Bernier won’t have an impact either. Not this time. What should be noted is that the Conservatives have a strong and steady lead. Which can increase as we get closer to the election. And, when questioned about who would make the best PM, it was a virtual tie between Andrew Scheer and Justin Trudeau. But, it will only get better. The poll also asked the question, Is the Country was doing better than four years ago, 47% said yes. Broken down it said 88% of Conservative voters said it was doing worse, while 86% of liberal voters said it was doing better.

There is one thing. Polls don’t worry liberals or politicians in general. And the liberals don’t seem to be worried about this one either. It’s not like Kathleen Wynne and the Ontario liberals. But it may be that the liberals are Confident going into the next election, October 2019. I think it’s necessary that Justin Trudeau shows himself as a leader who gets things done. That, I think is all he has to concentrate on. If he can do that, such as getting that pipeline built between Alberta and B.C. Handling the Trade Agreement with Donald Trump and United States, and the tremendous amount of migrants coming in from U.S. into Ontario and Quebec, he should be the Prime Minister for years to come. These are the things that Canadians are paying attention to. And so should he. If he concentrates on them, nothing else should matter. But if he doesn’t, and we still have people crossing over our border, it means he doesn’t have a plan. And to which I’m sure Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives do. Trudeau will be paying a price, a political one in the next election. And it may be felt in vote rich Ontario and Quebec.

Climate Changes.

I’m writing about this long and complex subject because it may be the right time to address it. And while those like environmentalists and our PM are “Trying” to make this an issue I’d like to ask,

Why are we worried about this?

A recent article in a Toronto Newspaper reported from the United Nations intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change said that there will be “Irreversible changes” in our Climate. In other words, because of lifestyle of cars, planes, boats, and our cutting down of trees and stuff, it will cause us to say choke on the greenhouse gases which comes from our cars mostly and choke or get sick from the Air that we breathe. Irreversible Changes. And let’s not forget, this is a governing body that’s trying to warn us and the entire World of what’s coming. In the next 12 years. Somewhere between 2030 and 2052. It says “We must take immediate and intensive action” to cut greenhouse gases. Or it will get worse they say.

We should note first of all that we can’t care for the entire World, we can only deal with what’s happening on Canadian soil not anywhere else. We should also note that it won’t make a big difference, because Canada is only responsible for 0.3 of the World’s greenhouse emissions. In Ontario the newly elected Premier scrapped the Cap and Trade system, brought in by the previous liberal regime, that caused the price of gas to go up. Now, it seems in Ontario, the Provincial Government is not to concerned about greenhouse gases because it cancelled pretty much every environmental program, from the previous adminstration. And the people don’t seem to be concerned either. I’m not concerned because to me, the Lord is in control of the Earth’s atmosphere.

I think the one thing we should have is Knowledge, and why the liberals are working on this. Here’s what you need to know. First.

We need trees because they give out Oxygen to the atmosphere. Oxygen is around 20% of the air we breathe. They, as well as plants absorb the GHG in the body of the tree. A tree is comprised of about 50% carbon. I will last for years. Just in Toronto, we have so many trees in our streets and neighborhood. There should be no worries there. If you want to help the environment, plant flowers in your front lawn. Carbon is also absorbed by water. Such as lake Ontario.

Second, God is in control of our Earth, our climate. Read in Genesis 8:22 where God said, “While the earth remains, seed-time and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.” This, he promised, after the flood, where the only survivors were Noah, his family and all the animals inside. Noah, once he came out of the Ark, built an altar and offered sacrifices to the Lord. And as soon as the Lord smelled the soothing aroma, He made his promises.

Third, As I said, the liberals are working on this. And the result is you’re paying for it. Ontario Premier Doug Ford may have helped this cause, he cancelled the previous liberal Cap and Trade system. And the result is that we’re paying less in gas. But we’re still paying, thanks to Justin Trudeau and his Carbon Tax. But even he’s not completely on board, he’s admitted that Canada compared to the Worlds’ Countries emitters such as United States, China, Countries in Asia are the worse offenders and Canada emits just 0.2 of the World’s greenhouse gases. And he wants to clean it up. And it won’t make a difference–to speak of. But we are paying for it at the pump, as well as the food we eat.

Let’s face it, the transportation of goods such as food has to be transported from the farm to the shelves at our Supermarkets. And it is reflected in the price we pay. And it’s expensive. Bread is over $2 a loaf. It would be less if we didn’t have carbon pricing. What you need to remember is that while we do yield ghg, Carbon CO2, It’s being absorbed by our atmosphere. And based on that, we should not have to worry about things like Temperature rising or it getting to hot around us because our lifestyle of cars and traffic.

Fourth. I mentioned the word Lifestyle. The realistic way of looking at this is that we as individuals are not to concerned about global warming or temperature. The government knows this too. If you’re a Mom, and you’re driving your kids to soccer practice with your SUV or Minivan, to you, well you’re not to concerned that you’re driving something that’s expensive on gas. Even if you answered on a survey that “yes I am concerned about Climate Change” our lifestyle probably says otherwise. Well don’t worry, even David Suzuki lives a life that says otherwise. He owns 8 houses. There’s a commercial making the rounds these days, that shows a giant size tractor getting his fuel at the Petro Canada gas station. It’s unusual to be seeing one of those giant things at a gas station isn’t it, that’s because Petro Canada goes to them so they can get their gas/diesel. We’re paying for that also. I don’t imagine it’s much, but Farming is a business too.

For the record, Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has said that the Conservatives will be releasing a full Climate Plan in time for the general election next year. But, Doug Ford, went on record to say he’d cancel the Cap and Trade plan in Ontario, and said he won’t have anything to do with the Federal plan. Everybody knew it, and he was still elected. It’s still not in our lifestyle to do something about this, is it? And deep down inside, we don’t really believe it do we? We admit it in a public survey, but we don’t do anything do we?  The only thing we do maybe is that we turn out our lights. But, our lifestyle still doesn’t dictate it. I drive a Chevrolet Cruze. It’s a beautiful little red car. Very good on gas.

Am I worried about tomorrow’s Climate? No.

And neither should you. It’s in God’s hands. If you hear about things like a Tsunami, a hurricane coming in on the east Coast of United States, it’s in Gods’ control. God will judge sin and He uses things like this to judge the inhabitants of this World. It has nothing to do with our Climate. But, if we were to look down on Earth from space like Chris Hadfield did and saw just the size, and beauty and magnitude of Earth, you wouldn’t be worried, you’d be amazed. From a space ship you can see the lights where there is Thunder and Lightning. From space it looks like little flashes of light. But you can see it, from Space. An Evangelist who lived in Toronto and heard it live, from three astronauts in Space and once, I think from seeing around the corner they took one look at ALL the stars so perfectly lined up that it could only be described in one way. Ravi Zacharias who heard it live on TV, “OH MY GOD!” A look, and it would thrash down any argument of evolution, any explosion of stars, planets, the Solar System, Creation of the Universe. One look and you see, The Majesty of God. His Creation. His Glory. See Psalm 19:1-4, to get an idea.

Justin Trudeau may not claim to know much about Climate Change, but he’s spoken about it in Parliament. I think he personally knows about as much as I do. Not a whole lot. But, he’s the Prime Minister of Canada and he knows how to make money for his government. And that means he’s making money on the gas that we’re paying. I will be going to close with this.

I’m still don’t know if the Conservatives will have a plan about this.

But, maybe they don’t need too. There is a Carbon Tax, and we’re paying for it. So, if this is the reality among us, we should remember this. Doug Ford cancelled a Plan about this and we’re not paying for it anymore. And so thus, he’s not concerned about this. Why should we? This is not the Earth that will suddenly be getting to hot in the next few years, our lifestyles will not be changing anything. Do you honestly believe that in Vancouver it’s going to be nice and warm and hot and breezy while in Toronto there’s too many cars too much heat, we need less cars to bring the heat down?

Remember, this is all under God’s Control. Read Genesis 8:22. Also, It’s impossible for us to do something to increase the Earth’s Temperature. So, stop worrying, and in fact, ENJOY the new SUV you just bought. And let’s be serious, you want to don’t you? The liberals want to be able to generate more money for themselves to spend on Government programs such as Healthcare. Actually, I think it’s their job. And no, it’s not going to be used for environmental things or programs to make things cooler around us, if at all possible. They want the money for themselves and it should be taken as that. |

You shouldn’t be concerned if Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer doesn’t announce a new Climate Change plan. The plan is to lower taxes and to take the price of gas across the Country down to a lower price, just like Ontario Premier Doug Ford. Justin Trudeau would say, “They don’t care about what’s happening, but we do.” You’re also going to be paying for it. But, don’t be concerned, it is in God’s very capable Hands. Read Genesis 8:22. Learn to trust in who’s telling the truth.  Andrew Scheer said, “There’s no correlation between the reduction of emissions and what the liberals are proposing.” It’s up to you to make a living for yourself and you should decide if you can afford to pay more or not. Even if you can, why pay more? You need money both now and tomorrow, and for retirement. Why give it to the government? We shouldn’t feel bad if we don’t want to give it to the government. They may waste it. Why not plan to buy a house or a  bigge or a faster car we may want for the future. Myself, I’d like a brand new Camaro. God willing. Anyways, This can be an issue of trust. If voters DON’T believe the liberals to do much about solving the problem of emissions, then they will end up keeping the money for themselves, while not meeting their own targets. And it still won’t be making a big difference. Doing nothing to some people may be bad. But doing something that doesn’t work– while costing jobs and raising taxes is far worse. So vote Conservative, and enjoy that SUV that we here in Ontario are enjoying!

Politics and Defense.

Hello everyone. You may want to ask yourself the question, how big and strong is our Armed Forces? Like, I as a former Soldier in the Canadian Army was very proud to March, Train and Fight for the Royal Regiment of Canada. Which was an infantry and medical Regiment. When I joined, I wanted to see what it was like (I was also being beaten up a lot in school), my Dad was also in and when he saw my interest, he asked if I wanted to join. That same night, I had a weapon called the FMC1 in my hands. A gas-powered rifle. You wouldn’t really know unless someone told you. Of all the things I’d seen over the next few years, I remember seeing how big the Regiment was. So many Soldiers, new recruits, week after week. I was one of them. I liked it a lot. I was also picked on a lot less in High School.

Today, that Regiment is still at Fort York Armories, but is a lot less. There is less money, less budget, fewer soldiers, less training. Canada’s Defense budget may seem like a lot, but trust me it isn’t. In fact, if you compare two small Countries like Canada and Australia you’ll find that Australia spent much, much more on its Defense than Canada has in about 50 years. Proud? I wouldn’t be. Some people have the misconception that we don’t need a Defense because there’s no crisis or any sort of  emergency where we are needed in the World. And that’s a big mistake. Neither is Australia. In fact, the most recent “Emergency” that Aussie Forces participated in was the Tsunami/Earthquake in Indonesia in September 2018. If Canada had an Army, it could deploy just 1,000 troops to help those with the hurricanes that often happen in or near the State of Florida. But alas, not so much as a Soldier is sent to help in the Southern States of the U.S.

There is a big difference in policies, and politics in our Country and Australia when it comes to Defense Spending between our Country and Australia. And, the biggest difference is when it comes to results and equipment for our men and women who are in uniform. When it comes to National Defense, Australia has a nonpartisan policy. Any cursory examination of the Australian and British defence policy over the past FIVE DECADES will reveal that no matter the party in power–ie. Liberal/Conservative or Labour–defense policy remains constant. Which is why you see other Countries with bigger armies, bigger toys, faster jets, better trained pilots in jet fighters and better and more of everything than Canada. Including Australia, a smaller and less prosperous Nation. Here we have rich resources. We even have oil and gas reserves to fuel military equipment.

But our politicians over the past fifty years, since the days of Pierre Elliott Trudeau and liberals altogether that have ruined our Defense. Here, it’s politicians who once they get into power change the policy of our Defense and as a result, nothing gets built. Nothing to speak. The previous administration wanted to buy F-35 fighter jets. But of course the liberals opposed it, the media, including the government-funded CBC opposed it, and went on further to say the Harper Conservatives were treating our Veterans as poorly as Senior Citizens. The liberals, who would later be elected to government, cancelled the F-35’s. Bad idea. Instead, Our liberal government decided to buy “Used” F-18’s from Australia. These were older ones that the Australian Government were getting rid of because they, and many of our Allies were all buying brand new F-35 fighter jets. And, it’s important to note too, that when your friends buy new equipment, you should too. Because, Their fighter pilots are highly trained and skilled to fly along side with their own pilots as well as those from other Countries. Such as U.S. and Canadian pilots, who partake in the NORAD program. That’s a special agreement. That’s CF-18’s flying over American Airspace, and likewise. So, you may want to ask how we stack up against Australia in Defense? here it is:

Australia Defense Budget $32.4 billion. Canada $25 billion.

Air Force 14,120 full-time and 4,273 part-time. 477 Aircraft.

Canada has 258 Aircraft, 14,500 personnel,

Army. Australia has 80,000 Troops, Canada has 68,000 Troops.

Navy. Australia has 49 Warships, including 10 frigates, a destroyer, 8 Anzac class frigates two Adelaide class frigates and one Hobart class destroyer. There are 16,000 personnel.

Canadian Navy has 12 frigates, 4 submarines, 12 coastal defense vessels and unarmed training vessels. It has 8,500 personnel.

You should remember, liberals and Conservatives, will not agree on Defense spending. Before becoming PM, Justin Trudeau was on record to say this,

“A liberal government will immediately cancel the mismanaged $30 billion sole-sources deal for the F-35 stealth fighter jets, and save billions of dollars. In the largest procurement in Canadian history, the Harper government never explained why that plane is essential at the time.” Justin Trudeau.

Justin Trudeau who is now the Prime Minister says the previous Harper administration can’t explain why we needed this plane. So let me explain. We want this Stealth Fighter Jet because our Allies like the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Norway, Turkey, Japan, Italy, the Netherlands and Denmark will all be buying this Stealth Fighting Aircraft. And all these Countries will be working and training alongside each other. Get the picture? And so it probably made a lot of sense for a Conservative Government to come alongside its Allies and contribute to the same project. Also, Justin you said that this project is being mismanaged? so what was your idea? I’ll tell you, you bought the “Used” F-16’s from Australia to replace our current CF-18’s. I think that’s very badly managed because it’s the wrong headed decision made by a liberal Prime Minister. And it’s the same dumb decisions being made like in the past when those like Paul Martin, Jean Chretien, John Turner, and Pierre Trudeau twice were running things. No more Defense spending. Which makes Canada the laughing stock of the World. Even Australia spends more.

I will be presenting a video of the F-35 Stealth Fighter Jet. It is quite spectacular. It’s what our Allies fly. We should too. And, this can make us a proud people who are able to help our friends and neighbours. Which, I know our American friends are very strong, but, they can’t do everything can they? They need us once in a while.

Federal NDP losing very badly.

The NDP under it’s leader Jagmeet Singh is losing badly. And the result will be seen next year in October 2019. The next federal election. But there are some indicating signs of their demise already. One of them is funding. It’s very low. Down below $5 million dollars. And, they are still in debt. Right there that offers proof that they can’t handle money whatsoever. Because, they were in debt when the 2015 election ended when Thomas Mulcair was their leader, and they are still in debt. They did get above zero, but then fell into it again. See, they can’t handle their own money, how do they manage the Nation’s money?

Another reason is the result they’ve have had in by-elections. The winners have been either Conservative or liberal. The NDP, after seeing the results were a Distant Third Place. And the by-elections were in different provinces across Canada. Two in Quebec, Toronto, and in British Columbia.  Which and by the way, the one MP they have in Alberta, Linda Duncan in the riding of Edmonton-Strathcona won’t be running in the next election. Maybe she thought she didn’t have a chance.

Another reason is the Leader, Jagmeet Singh. He will be running in the next by-election in South Burnaby, B.C. The seat was given up by Kennedy Stewart so he could run for Mayor of Vancouver. He’s been nominated already. But, the liberals won’t call an election until it’s time. The government is not required to announce a by-election until six months after it has been vacated. The liberals are playing it smart by waiting for the last minute to do something because if Jag wins that’s good and it will be good for the party’s fortunes too. But if he loses, they will be spending so many thousands of dollars for him to win, and he lost. But, by the time a federal election rolls around they will have to spend so many more thousands for a federal election. They will have only about four or five months to prepare, and they will be in debt. It’s not the liberals fault that the NDP are in debt. There might be some complaints though too. Lol. Ontario NDP leader Andrea Horwath won’t do anything to help Kathleen Wynne and her liberals to gain funding for her political base. No official party status. You might remember, that Dalton McGuinty and the liberals did them a favor by offering more funding to the NDP. Yet, Andrea Horwath won’t return the favor. A politician like Andrea Horwath should remember not to burn any bridges behind her, or him. This  includes people, political parties and orginizations in general.

What goes around comes around, and the bigger they are, the harder the fall.

She is probably thinking that she’ll be the next Premier of this Province. Ontario. But maybe not. She may not be the Leader of the Opposition in four years. But as you read in the Bible of the Woman who sits on the beast, She say in her heart, “I sit as queen; I am not a widow, and I will never mourn.” Revelation 18:7.  She was laid waste in one hour. And God said about her, Rejoice over her, O Heaven! Rev. 18:20.

To continue, Their polling shows them at less than 20%. And we should note that percentage points are not an accurate way of judging how many seats. But, These MP’s are still hopeful of good results in the federal election coming in October 2019. I wouldn’t hold my breath. I think it’s going to be bad for the NDP. I think Jag, who will go up against Megan Veck for the Conservatives, I don’t know the who the other party members will be, but anyone can win, except the NDP. The liberals have 18 seats in the Province of B.C. Conservatives 9. My opinion is that this will be a two way fight between the liberals and Conservatives. It’s getting closer. Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives are closing the gap. But, unless there’s another major setback like a pipeline or an Ottawa Scandal of some kind, I think the liberals will pull this one out. Maybe a Majority, but not as strong. Fewer seats. Justin Trudeau has to show himself as a leader. The liberals will lose some, the Conservatives will gain, the NDP will be obliterated. They’ve got 41, they’ll get 10-15. Or less. That’s going to give the first two over twenty seats to fight for in the next election. I know Andrew Scheer and the Conservatives would love to make more gains in Quebec where the NDP have 15. Gaining half would be great! I personally would like to see that. It proves that the French speaking Province has Conservative values like other Canadians. The Ndp will lose badly, with more debt to boot.

The Notwithstanding Act. Section 33.

In a rare and unusual move the Ontario Government will invoke Section 33 of the Canadian Constitution/Charter of Rights and Freedoms to invoke it’s legislation. Bill 5. And my impression is that Premier Doug Ford will do this again to “get his way” in the Ontario Legislature. If, you want my advice I think he should have accepted the decision of the Judge (Edward Belobaba) who ruled that the legislation was not Constitutional and that it would have to be done at another time. With perhaps different wording. That’s the wise move. Because, as I said in an earlier post on this subject, the timing is not right to do this. It is in the middle of a Municipal Campaign that they are changing the rules. And some, myself included are upset. There was no need whatsoever to introduce this legislation at this time. And now, Premier Doug Ford has stepped on some people’s rights, to get what he wants. This is him being a dictator. And for what. Is it payback time?

I am not against smaller government,

But I agree as what Mayor John Tory said earlier today. You don’t change the rules in the middle of a game and you don’t use a hammer to squash a flee. This can be done and introduced after the Municipal election is over. No rush. No worry. No use of the Notwithstanding Clause. This will get worse. Because, Teachers’ Federations are also taking the Ontario Government to Court. This over the Government’s decision to use the Curriculum from 1997 to 2015. Which, excludes certain things like same sex families and cyber-bullying. I don’t think this Government should be taking any chances with these Powerful Teachers’ Unions. But any attempt to use that Section 33 of the Charter again and people will be of the opinion that he’ll use it over and over again, like it’s candy. That’s not good. And he, and that Government will be paying a price for it come Election Time. That’s in four years time. Sorry Doug, I’m a Conservative supporting voter, but, this is wrong. And if all you had to do was to wait for another municipal election with consultation from the people, you might have given yourself another mandate. Now all you can do is hope that you don’t have to use the Clause again against the Teachers Federation. That is a more wise move. A better one. Take Care.
