I’m choosing a headline from a Newspaper because it seems to sums things up. The liberals may end up losing, six months from now in October, but maybe they will hang on to a Minority Parliament. I think PMJT has failed in this, the first liberal Majority since 2004. And they may end up losing again to the Conservatives. The NDP could be lost in the wilderness, like the Israelites, and may not find the Promise Land for some years yet. There was an election in PEI this week and it was the Progressive Conservatives who won the most seats, but guess who the Official Opposition is? The Greens. Their first meaningful Win I guess you can say in any Parliament across Canada. There’s one Provincial seat in the Ontario, owned by the Greens. Mike Schreiner is his name Anyways,
What should we expect in the coming election?
Probably fewer liberals. Because this Climate Change issue seems to matter to Justin Trudeau. And I think he’s going to be in for a rude awakening when he realizes that we don’t want to pay for it. Which in Ontario is averaging around $1.21 per litre. And under his watch, it’s bound to go up. And for what? Nobody sees what difference this Climate Change is making. We’re not driving less. We’re driving now and thinking about how to pay for the gas later. Our lifestyle is not changing. If you look just in the GTA, you see two things that matter. First, If you’re driving, there are many who are headed into Toronto because they work there. These are commuters who live in Mississauga (which is where I live), Richmond Hill, Beyond Steeles along Yonge Street, Markham, which is on the east side but beyond Steeles. And Pickering, Ajax which is east of Toronto. These are the 905/Greater Toronto Area. This is a lot of people. The second thing to remember is, not all are driving to work. There are many who live in Toronto and are commuting to work. TTC, Buses, Subway and streetcar. The Conservatives under Stephen Harper introduced the 15% tax break on Transit which was such an outstanding tax break for so many millions of Canadians that it brought joy to our hearts. But is was cancelled by the liberals in their budget in 2017. I thought t was awful. And they increased the price of gas to boot. So it’s expensive for everyone. And it’s all going to government revenues. For what? This is the time to say enough. I need that money for myself and my family. It doesn’t go to government.
This Government’s approval rating has dropped 20% the last two years.
This is before there was a SNC Lavalin Scandal. But probably when they cancelled the Tax Break on Transit. If I was Andrew Scheer, I’d be making a promise to bring that Tax Break back and make it a 20% Tax break. Which, I’m sure Trudeau will be opposed to. Also, I’d be blowing up the Infrastructure Bank too. The liberals won 80 of the Ontario federal seats. There are 121 altogether. That’s a big win. if you want a Majority. The question is:

Can you win and keep the seats you won in Ontario?
Because Jean Chretien did and won easily in 1997. So can Justin Trudeau? The answer is NO. Because all that these liberals have done since being elected is go down, and down and down. There’s nothing that they can do to improve matters. They’ve just had their last budget before the election. The only thing they’ve promised is to refund some money for their Climate Change plan which won’t be coming until next year. And they tend to break their promises. We know that very well don’t we. In fact, Conservatives break promises too. But at least they have a better record. So, I said the Answer is no. Because, I don’t think people want to be paying more in gas prices for the purpose of Climate Change. What climate change? There’s actually no real connection on why we’re paying more. What may matter most, and this will affect many people across Canada in Major Cities, like Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver is, we may want that money for ourselves. That’s money in our pockets. And Conservatives are good at things like that. Lower taxes and smaller government. Andrew Scheer should concentrate on this when campaigning. These things matter to Canadians. Trudeau will lose in these areas because it’s so much more expensive for those in the 905 area. And for what, Climate Change issues? Trudeau will lose these seats because changes in the climate matter to him. But we want that money for ourselves. Already the Province is fighting him over this. Enough about this. Let’s move on.
A majority believe Canada is moving in the wrong direction.
I agree. And that’s over 50% of Canadian voters. Take a look at one other thing about Trudeau. He still won’t stand up to the Chinese Government for it’s treatment of two Canadians who are being held in prison, in China. Also, Robert Lloyd Schellenberg, who was given a death sentence after being sentenced to 15 years in prison, with officials saying his sentence was too lenient. I would like him released. I am praying for these men, but I would like the Government to do something to intervene. To date, I don’t think Trudeau has had any communication with the Chinese Government. Maybe it’s inappropriate, but I’d still like some action. My impression is that a Conservative Prime Minister would handle things differently. What may be important to remember is this. If you don’t do something about this, things will get worse. Which is why our Canola oil is also being held. And it’s going to get worse. Unless maybe we release our Chinese Executive, Meng Wanzhou. This has been going on since December 1, 2018. Since she was arrested in Vancouver. If Justin Trudeau were to stay the PM after the election, this will become an ongoing thing. Probably another few years. Until she’s actually extradited. We’ll lose a lot between now and then. All done by the People’s Republic of China. Not done by Trudeau and this government. So, this has to stop as soon as possible. As I’ve already said, Andrew Scheer would be handling things differently. Maybe the most awful thing that could happen is for a Conservative government to hand her back to the Chinese. I don’t think that’s an option. My impression is a Conservative Government would handle things more aggressively against this Chinese regime.
This will come down to leadership between Andrew Scheer and Justin Trudeau. I think these two leaders would be handling this case with this woman Meng Wanzhou differently. And we as Canadians need to stand up for these things. There are some things these liberals are not good at. And I don’t think Justin Trudeau is a good leader. I hope you liked reading this. Take care and God bless you.
